How is this Warframe tier list calculated?

Accepted Answer

Rankings are computed from Digital Extremes’ own published weapon stats. Damage per shot = base damage × (1 + crit chance × (crit multiplier − 1)) × multishot. Burst DPS multiplies that by fire rate. Sustained DPS accounts for magazine size and reload time, and is left blank where either is missing. These figures use BASE stats only: no mods, arcanes, Incarnon evolutions, faction damage or status synergy, and no allowance for how a weapon feels to use. This is a statistical ranking, not a verdict on what is best.

Why are there no S-tier weapons?

Accepted Answer

Because "S-tier" implies a judgement about what is best in the game, and a ranking from base stats cannot support that. We use A–D bands based on percentile within each category, and we say so on the page.

Question 3

Does this account for mods and Incarnon evolutions?

Accepted Answer

No. These figures use base stats only — no mods, arcanes, Incarnon evolutions, faction damage or status synergy. Those change the picture substantially, which is exactly why we publish the formula instead of a verdict.

How often is it updated?

Accepted Answer

The underlying stats come from Digital Extremes’ Public Export, which we re-read every six hours, so the rankings follow balance changes automatically.
