Why we do not quote riven prices
Every other price on this site comes from an observable order book: many sellers, one identical good, a distribution we can summarise. Rivens have none of that. Each one is unique, listings are auctions rather than fixed offers, and asking prices are routinely many times what anything actually sells for.
We could generate a number for every weapon and it would look authoritative. It would also be made up. So this page explains the mechanics that determine value and leaves the valuation to you — and where a specific weapon develops enough real demand, we publish a page for it rather than guessing across all of them.
